Get your tastebuds ready for some old fashioned cooking with Roseville Parks and Recreation and Roseville Crime Stoppers 16th annual Chili Cook-Off. The event will be held 6:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 at the Maidu Community Center located at 1550 Maidu Drive in Roseville. Guests can enjoy tasting a variety of chili prepared by local amateur chefs representing the Roseville business community and charitable organizations. In addition to the chili, oldies rock n’ roll music by the Premiers and a raffle will be featured. Proceeds benefit Roseville Crime Stoppers, senior programs and Project Play (Universally accessible playgrounds). The cost is $15 in advance/ $20 at the door. Children 8 and under are free.
