Valley Christian Academy’s girls volleyball team rolled over Victory Christian 3-0 on Thursday night, advancing the Lions to the championship match in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division VI playoffs next Thursday, Nov. 18, at UC Davis.
The Lions were 12-0 in the Sacramento Metro Athletic League for the school’s first league championship and are now 23-0 this season. This is the best record in school history.
“It’s really special because our school has never gone this far before and never had this good of a record,” senior Carly Gish said. “This has been the biggest accomplishment for us. I’m really excited to go to Davis and fight for the section title.”
