All-American Fourth of July celebration ready to blast off in Downtown Roseville

Come join your friends and neighbors Friday, July 4 at Roseville’s All-American Fourth of July Celebration parade in Downtown Roseville. The parade festivities begin at 10 a.m. at the Riverside/Vernon/Douglas intersection. The parade marches down Vernon Street past the Civic Center, turns right on Lincoln Street and ends at Royer Park. Floats, bands, marching groups, clowns, cars, pets, bicycles and motorcycles are just some of the many categories on display. Later that night, fireworks will light up the sky above the Placer County Fairgrounds. The show starts at about 9:30 p.m. Admission and parking is free and the fairground gates open at 7 p.m. Before the parade, from 8-9:30 a.m., the Roseville Community Crime Stoppers organization will host the “Run Crime Out of Roseville” 5K Run/Walk that begins and ends at Royer Park. Registration for adults is $30 on race day – children $15. Roseville’s annual All- American Fourth of July Celebration is sponsored by the city of Roseville, the Roseville Chamber of Commerce and The Press-Tribune along with generous support from Roseville businesses, community organizations and other local sponsors.
