Crime In Your Community: Auburn cocaine arrest; Loomis storage units burglarized; More

Sept. 13

Philip Dustin Hawkins, 43, of rural Auburn was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest followed a vehicle stop at Live Oak Lane and Grass Valley Highway in North Auburn.

 

Pool equipment worth $500 was reported stolen from a yard in the 3000-block Orchard Park Way area of Loomis.

 

Sept. 12

Auburn Gas N Shop, 13380 Lincoln Way in Bowman was burglarized with $470 in cash and $149 in rolled coins stolen from cash registers.

 

Vehicle-registration information was stolen from an unlocked truck parked at the side of Northglen Street in Granite Bay.

 

Kaggin Marie Glass, 23, of Roseville was arrested in the 1800-block of Auburn Ravine Road in Bowman on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale and possession of meth.

 

Demetrius Jordan Davis, 41, of Citrus Heights was cited on suspicion of possession of meth, drug paraphernalia and burglary tools. The citation was issued at Fiddyment Road and Athens Avenue in Lincoln.

 

Sept. 11

Fraudulent checks for $439 were cashed at On Site Engineering and Asphalt, 3303A Swetzer Road in Loomis.

 

Barry Warren Gracier, 54, of North Highlands was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The arrest took place at the corner of Roseville Parkway and Pleasant Grove Boulevard.

 

A camper-trailer was reported stolen from a parking area at Quarry Court and Tudor Way in Loomis.

 

Sept. 4

Tri-City Self Storage, in the 3400-block Swetzer Road in Loomis was broken into and had 18 locks opened on storage units. A video recording showed a white 2000-vintage Ford truck with oversize tires and a trailer loaded with stolen property leaving the business. The thefts took place between 8:49 a.m. and 10:10 a.m.
