Sept. 18

Joshua Mackenroth, 53, of San Diego was arrested in Placer County on suspicion of battery. Mackenroth is alleged to have struck a 40-year-old woman on the arm with his fist, pulled her hair and smashed the front of her face with his open palm, a Sheriff’s Office report said.


Sept. 17

An unlocked truck parked in the 9200-block Walerga Road area of Roseville was entered and property valued at an estimated $490 was stolen.


Several windows were vandalized on a Forest Lake Christian School bus parked in the 200-block of Taylor Road in Newcastle.


Kristina Marie McCann, 25, of Grass Valley was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting from North Auburn’s Target store. The store reported the suspect leaving without paying for $69 worth of Target merchandise in her purse.


Joshua Joseph Kelly, 28, of Citrus Heights was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary in the 4100-block Cavitt Stallman Road area of Granite Bay. He was booked into jail on additional charges of being under the influence of a drug, obstructing arresting authorities and violating parole.


A glass door was shattered to gain entry to the Colfax Taco Bell, 555 South Auburn St. Money from the restaurant’s donation jar, believed to be in excess of $50, was taken in the overnight break-in.


Rebecca Kridler, 41, of Auburn was arrested in the 2200-block Corral Drive area of Auburn on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and driving while her license was suspended.


Henry Allen Keith, a 28-year-old Auburn transient, was cited and released on suspicion of possession of meth. The citation was issued in the 3000-block Grass Valley Highway area of North Auburn.


Sept. 16

Chat Cahi Vangi, 28, of Sacramento was arrested at 3 a.m. in the Sunset Boulevard-Little Rock Road area of Rocklin on suspicion of possession of a restricted, dangerous drug, possession of a meth pipe and possession of 18 different stolen IDs. He was also booked into the jail on suspicion of initially giving arresting deputies a false name.


Craig Lance Carly, 60, of Colfax was arrested on suspicion of battery on a peace officer after deputies were called to a report of a disturbance in the 900-block of Eden Valley Road in Colfax. The suspect allegedly stomped on a peace officer’s foot during a pat search.


Sept. 15

Two vehicles were broken into and paperwork stolen from glove boxes in the 8000-block Ramsgate Drive area of Granite Bay.


Sept. 14

A total of $8,615 in property was reported stolen in a burglary from an 1800-block Quail Road home in Newcastle.
