June 13

An 11300-block Quartz Drive mailbox in North Auburn was vandalized. Damage was an estimated $200.


Jessica Belinda Molina, 30, of Sacramento was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle. The arrest took place during a traffic stop on a 1995 Honda Accord with no rear license plate. The stop took place in the 3300-block Industrial Avenue of unincorporated Rocklin. Molina was also arrested on suspicion of driving with her license suspended.


Eric Cody Westin, 28, a transient, was arrested at North Auburn’s Regional Park in the 3700-block Richardson Drive area on suspicion of burglary and possession of narcotics. The arrest followed a burglary at a shed in the park. During a search after the arrest, four pill bottles with patient names scratched out were discovered.    


June 12

Cameron Calli, 29, of Antelope was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a drug, possession of cocaine and driving while his license was suspended because of a prior DUI conviction. The arrest took place after a 2011 Mercedes E350 was stopped on Auburn Folsom Road near Los Lagos Circle in Granite Bay for non-functioning lights. The time of the arrest was 3:30 a.m.


John Daniel Borman, 36, a transient, was arrested on a theft charge, accused of leaving Bel Air in North Auburn with $19.43 worth of food without paying. Borman is reported by the Sheriff’s Office to have said that he used the self-checkout and then threw his receipt in the trash.


A 63-year-old San Diego woman reported that $500 in cash was stolen from her purse at unincorporated Lincoln’s Thunder Valley Casino.


Terry Lee Hoffman, 36, of North Auburn was cited on suspicion of possession of meth. The citation was issued at Richardson Drive and Dry Creek Road in North Auburn.


Cody Michael Toste, 30, of Penryn was taken into custody at Taylor Road and Webb Street in Penryn on suspicion of being a felon in possession of ammunition, driving with a suspended license and driving without an interlock device engaged. Live shotgun shells were reported to have been found in the glove box of a vehicle Toste was driving.


June 9

April Joy Schneider, 49, of Lincoln was cited on suspicion of possession of meth. The citation was issued at the Granite Bay Community Park in the 6000-block Douglas Boulevard of unincorporated Roseville.


Brandon Dale Tucker, 32, of Loomis was arrested at Edgewood Road and Highway 49 in North Auburn on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, evading a peace officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance.


A 50-year-old woman was questioned after a 59-year-old woman reported being hit in the temple by a thrown rock. The incident took place in the 24300-block Lowe Street in Foresthill. A report was taken but no arrest took place or citation was issued. The woman hit by the rock was struck in the temple but declined medical attention. The alleged thrower said that she threw the rock but didn’t intend to hit anyone.


Tools worth $1,105 were stolen from an unlocked shed in the 200-block Canyon Court area of Colfax.


June 8

Haley Deanna Steffen, 24, of Piniole was cited on suspicion of stealing $162 in store items from North Auburn’s Target.


Construction tools valued at $7,000 were reported stolen from unlocked tool boxes on a work truck parked on Canyon Creek Drive in Dutch Flat.


June 5

A window was broken to gain entry to a 9700-block Antelope Road home in unincorporated Roseville. A lamp worth $100 was reported missing. Window damage was an estimated $1,000. It was the third burglary at the same address in recent months.


June 2

A 19-year-old Citrus Heights woman reported that a debit card and $43 in cash were stolen from her purse while she attended a party in the 3200-block of Sun Knoll Drive in Loomis. The debit card was later used for an unauthorized meal purchase.


May 29

A vandal scratched a car in the 3500-block Galena Drive of North Auburn, causing paint damage that the victim said would cost $5,300 to repair.
