Senior Program Manager Mike Mason represented KidsFirst at Sacramento’s Social Venture Partners 2018 Fast Pitch. With three months of hard work alongside the guidance of his Fast Pitch coaches, Mason crafted a near-perfect, three-minute pitch at the Golden 1 Center. The pitch highlighted the KidsFirst story, services and its community impact. Mason earned second-place in the overall judges category, which included $2,000 in-kind donations, along with earning an additional $1,000 in donations. KidsFirst runs Counseling & Family Resource Centers in Auburn and Roseville and serves as the Placer County Child Abuse Prevention Council.
