Placer County detectives captured two criminals on Nov. 16, both wanted for burglary throughout Placer County, according to law enforcement officials.

“During the investigation, detectives found other local crimes which Kaestner and Terry were wanted for,” said Placer County Sheriff’s Office public information officer Angela Musallam.

Those crimes included a case in Roseville, where Kaestner and Terry stole items from a Raley’s grocery store, according to Musallam. Kaestner was seen pepper spraying an individual who was trying to record them on a cell phone during the theft, according to officials.

The two were also wanted for a theft in Auburn on Nov. 11.

“Kaestner’s gold Toyota Camry was spotted by a sheriff’s deputy last week after the pair stole from the Auburn Home Depot,” according to Musallam. The two were also wanted for theft of alcohol from a Raley’s in Granite Bay.

The suspects led the deputy on a high-speed chase that ended for the public’s safety, according to Musallam.

During this time, theft broadcasts and video surveillance identified Christopher Terry as the suspect in several felony thefts from a tool store in Sacramento County, according to Musallam.
