Enjoy an evening under the moonlight at a beautiful estate, while helping out a good cause.

The fourth annual American Cancer Society's Harvest of Hope Gala takes place Saturday, Sept. 8, at Dalla Terra Estate in Granite Bay. The event raises money for cancer research, advocacy and free patient service programs throughout the Sacramento region.

The event raised nearly $550,000 in its first three years, according to committee member Linda McMahon.

This year's gala theme is Moonlight Over Morocco and will feature related activities, entertainment and food. There will also be cocktails and a live auction hosted by Paul Robins and Bethany Crouch of Fox 40.
